    Replacing key fobs?

I need to replace my 2 key fobs as they're getting pretty old. I have a few questions.

    1. Where is the best place to get a good key fob?
    2. My key fobs don't seem original, so they have no FCC codes or whatever on them. How do I match them to the right key fobs?
    3. Someone installed a remote starter on the truck ('99 Suburban diesel). Its pretty useless, and I don't want it. Can I get a key fob with just lock/unlock functions? I ask because there is a switch under the dash that turns off the remote start option, but it also turns off the keyless entry option.
    4. Anyone know if key fobs and keyless entry cause any trouble with GM dumb passlock? I need to disable that dumb system anyways.

    Thanks

Getting these vehicles programmed is a piece of cake, you just need a paper clip. I just want to know which key fobs will work or not, I'm assuming certain years and models have different transmitters?
