    5.13's in the diffs, 231 with a tera 4:1, running 39.5" Irok's, should i be OK??

I am seriously thinking of buying a set of 39's that i found online. I originally was looking at 37's, but i am having a hard time finding a set used.... So, it begs the question..... Will i still have the gumcha in the setup to have some good times?

I am not hard on my TJ so, my concern is mainly with still having a nice low crawl gear to get over stuff and still have decent road power...
RIP OD, YOU'LL BE MISSED.... BUT that's OK 'cuz you've been REPLACED !!!

Sounds like a great set up, you will still have a real nice low gear and be very street friendly as well.

You will be fine around Limerick but if you head to Calabogie any time you will be doing a fair amount of down shifting. The 39" will suck a big amount of power not only due to the new height but the added weight and rolling resistance. There aren't many hills in your neighborhood to give it any real problems until you head to the fun spots. I know the 416/43 area pretty well, I grew up in Prescott.

Would it be a big improvement over say 35's with 4.10's with the stock 231? That's what i had last Fall on my only two outings... It sucked arse....

It will be a great improvement off road but you will be wishing for 5.38 on the road.

With a 4 banger on 39's, you will be very hard pressed to have too much gear. 39's and 5.13's will suck on the highway.....5.38's are unlikely to be much different other than you might be able to grab OD "occasionally".....maybe.

I doubt 4.10's and 35's vs 5.13's and 39's will feel much different.

I am running full width 60's 5.38's and 39.5" Pitbulls with stock 4.0L with Edge kit, (chip, intake and bigger TB) Borla header, high flow cat and muffler and a AW4/flipped300. On the road that 4banger will suck, I cruise at 90k around 2000rpms, wish it was a lil higher. offroad with ur 4:1 you should be okay. I runnin a flipped 300 with stock gearing in it. Maybe stick with some 36 or 37's if you have the 4 banger.
