    Trail Head Rock Rails install

Well I decieded that it was time to install my rock rails today . These are from Trail Head Customs and let me tell you these are beefy and well built. The install took me 3 hours, various tools such as Allen key set, ratchet with 10mm and 7/16 sockets, drill, bla bla bla....oh and a welding machine.......

This is what I had on my 03 Rubie

What I did not get photos of are the tie-in braces that are welded to the lower inside of the rails and attach directly to the body mounts ..... ( my camera fell off the hood of my Jeep and hit the floor, thus smashing into 3 pieces ..... yup I was pissed ).

One thing to look out for is any wiring that may run along the inside of your door threshold.......you do not want to drill through your wiring harness!!!!!!!!

All in all I am very pleased with the install of the rails. Trail Head makes a good product and his welds are solid. Thanks Trevor, I will be in contact with you concerning my rear bumper......
