well i had to buy another 8.8 to get the open carrier and good axle shafts. oh well.
did some clean up today and now waiting on brackets and a aussie locker.
cant wait sizeing up the 8.8 to the dana 35..... no comparsion and just for laughs i
took a caliper to some stock dana 60 rear shafts and again the 8.8 bigger at its smallest
area and bigger at the splines too.

also started the aussie locker install today.
came across some tolerance issues. ill have to get a set of side gear thrust washer that are less than the .030 that are on it now.

locker is fully installed but my hands were to greesy for more pics.

ill have to remove it and get some thinner thrust washers if anyone has any id appricate it.

well ROCKSPYDER 4X4 comes through again thanks Jim.

so contiuned today and with the .025 shims i got a pin measurement of .010 (.006-.020 tolerance)
center gap of .151 (.145-.170 tolerance)

    perfect within spec. good.
ill be picking up a new cross pin bolt when i get a chance, for what if cost why reuse an old one

lookin good, if you get bored you can swing on over and clean up my axle . Nice build. i like that you're not throwing money at it, but are spending on smart upgrades. i'm looking forward to seeing the TMR brackets, i stopped in at their showroom yesterday, and they have some nice stuff.
currently building a toyota. i'm sorry.
