    junkyard leather seat install into xj

    as if i dident have enough going on i thought id tackle this too.
    my xj seats are pretty worn out so i go and get these out of some
    car at the scrap yard and this is how to put them in.
    all pictures as usuall
    pics are out of order ill post pics of them in the jeep when i get a chance.

    What kind of car where they out of, and, didn't they have any old XJ Limited seats? I always figured they'd be a bolt-in...

    If I was a Jeep, they'd have parted me out a LONG time ago.

    i never even thought about getting xj seats. i just got the first set i seen and i'm going to make them work
    seats out of a subaru outback.

    A solid work ethic! *L* Good for you. I have a bad habit of taking the easy way out... I imagine they're pretty comfy, AND the satisfaction of having a one-off set of seats is hard to beat.

    so the drivers seat truned out to be a nightmare.
    the track was revited and welded to the seat. uh....

    but i seperated it today.
