The Black Sahara Transformation to Khaki Camo Krylon

Well, there are no build up shots as my time was quite limited.

I like the Desert storm look and not too many people have that colour. I had seen a few O.D camo Krylon builds and was inspired.

Basically I replaced the front 2 fenders, pulled everything off the tub, media blasted the hinges and rear carrier/bumper and painted everything with Krylon Khaki Camo or Black Camo.

The Front fenders were the only real rusty part on this jeep. The tub and doors etc had been oil sprayed so they were quite clean.

There is no filler in this rig at all.

I Still have to get a front winch bumper and put on my rocker guards, clean up and paint the frame and skid plates and a couple other things.

I don't know If I am going to like it as being a light colour and ultra flat paint it looks like it will stain easily.

The pics aren't that great but as promised I am posting them Saturday.

Stach1, do you know any brand names? I didn't know they made "Pre-flattened". I know there is matte but I think that would just look I sprayed orange peeled paint.

Because this had the Sahara painted flares I decided to try it and I liked it. I had seen another jeep with this colour and black flares and it didn't look that great. It seemed a bit much with the light colour.

    Thanks for the feedback folks!

It has actually held up pretty good.. if I do get grease or something on it spray nine will take it off (paint as well) if I do it carefully... I have some stone chips on the front but its easy to touch up..
