    1 hole means new floors?

well after buy backed out of the sale on my jeep. i desided to take the carpet out only to find my "little" hole was infact just a big pile of mud, rust and metal. so i started to remove all the carpet (who needs that anyways LOL ). after an hr or so this is were i am now.

i know it looks really bad as i well is , but its savable, i just have one more thing to add when im finished this job i will most likely stay away from alot more mud then i used to. full floor (both sides front to back) and rhino lining will be done to this XJ.

    Damn!

    Now THAT's a hole...

If I was a Jeep, they'd have parted me out a LONG time ago.

LOL badcompany i have the special one both sides have no floors now. i figured if im going through the trouble to remove the carpet and part of the floor why not do the whole thing. this way im not in a few yrs replacing the other half after. makes sense to me sure its more money but i mean in the long run i wont have a big head ache about it.

yes pretty much , what did you do about the seat bolting issue ? , i was thinking of just getting some raised brackets made and getting some of those plastic racing seats for the front maybe.

you can just weld some flat tabs on the seat brackets and bolt them down i guess.
my floor seat bolt down parts were fine.

Here is a few pics of my floor job. only took pics of the passenger side but should have took pics of the driver side because it was right Facked and needed a lot more patches and work compared to the passenger.

    Rust

    Rust cut out

For gauge of steel to use i would go 18 gauge for sure or even 16.
