    Got Junk??

ok, as you all know storage space in the back of a jeep is non existent. so as the piles of crap i use all the time got bigger and bigger i started scratching my head for a idea. so i cooked up a bolt in tool box the has a place for everything.

not only was it Bolt In but it was bolt together. i don't have a tig welder nor do i know how to use one. so i just bolted it together. seemed to work out just fine.

    now, pictures

it always starts with a pile of raw material

    starting to take shape

    MMMMMMMMM vice

DOHH i'm a dumbass, forgot to factor that in

i ended up having to move the air line. a move that kinda bite me in the ass as you will see

i slacked on the pictures putting the skin on, but it's all good

i had to farm out the making of the lid and handle placement to a local shop. i can't bend/weld aluminium and the handles had the highest factor of fawk up so might as well let somebody else do that part

the inverter installed. a bit of a hack job but it works

made my own threaded rod just cause i was too lazt to head into town. seemed to work out just fine

some added storage. the top 2 bags didn't make it in though, maybe in the days to come though

    installed

so i'm not a rocket scientist yet, told you that the move of the air line would come back to bite me. still works but not quite as smooth as intended

and that about sums it up. i still have some little tings to do but thats just minor junk like wiring and plumbing up the air.

WOW! Fawk me man that's one killer storage unit. Will you be leaving it in your Jeep full time or only for wheeling? I'd imagine it'd be a bitch to install and remove so you wouldn't want to do it frequently.

mehhhh, i'v got forklifts all over the place and the top does come off. easy in and out. but it will be full time use unless i need to put the back seat back in for whatever reason.

i plan on using plugs in the wiring for just such a reason.
