    Axle swap

Hey just wanted to know what I need to do to if I'm going to swap Dana 30 and Dana 35 Axles from a YJ into a CJ that has an AMC 20 and a Dana 30. Any help would be great.
    Thanks

    Only question: Why?

    A Dana 35 is a POS....

Dana 30 from a CJ is passenger side pumpkin and Dana 30 from a YJ is driver side pumpkin so you would also need to change your t-case.... at least. Also, the spring perches on the YJ axles will be in a different location. Unless you have a really good reason, this does not sound like a great plan. And , Like Pins CJ said, Dana 35=POS

Start with a 2x4 and smack yourself on the head. Seriously, that swap makes absolutely no sense on every conceivable level.

Are you pulling our legs LOL.

If you are serious though, way too much work to do the swap, the front pumpkin is on the wrong side as stated above.

If you're doing the swap for better gearing, put up a post in the wanted section for CJ axles, if your looking for stronger axles, YJ ones are not the way to go. Look for some dana 44's.

Ya the d20 is stronger then then d35 (and if you truss it) and one piece shaft is kind of close to a d44
and if you dont want to put in a d44 front.. keep the d30 and chromo the shafts at lest..

but your best bet is scout axles or old waggy axles (pre 79 i think) had the driver side drop
