JK sway bar liks hitting wheel

So I just finished an OME lift on my JK unlimited... Those ausues have a strange idea of what 2" is. Anyway I put on nothridge adjustible rear swaybar end liks and with the sway bar set at 90* to the ground the end link hits the wheel weight in right turns. Before it was the left wheel that hit in left turns but I slid the bar over to correct that and Now the right hits... Any ideas?

Yeah, the OME will probably net you closer to 3-3.5" depending if you got the HD coils, heard it rides great though. It's the kit I plan on getting. Did you just go with shocks and springs or did you add control arms too? Are you using the stock rims or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what's the offset?

I went with the HD springs and standard travle shocks. Rather then new arms I used the aev drop brackets... Cheaper and better. You will also need new end links for the rear and then move the rears to the front or what I did was new rears and jks diconnects in the front. I also didn't get the rear track bar bracket with mine and so far so good. Rims are stock sahara 18" so far I rebalanced the rear wheels last night with stick on weights so I will see how it goes

from what I've read, with any lift, to avoid rubbing you're going to need either spacers or a rim with a min 4.5" offset.

Maybe I missed it.... did you get bigger tires too ?You will need at least an 1 1/2" spacer for factory wheels. I went to 35" with factory rims and I rubbed like crazy on full turn. Once the spacers went in it was all good.

If you decide to get aftermarket rims get something with 4 1/2" backspacing and you wont need spacers.

I had the same problem when i lifted my jk.

Instead of mounting the links on the outside of the swaybar, switch it to the inside.

    Problem solved
