    Cool new project!

    We'd like piccies...

    What engine does it have?

If I was a Jeep, they'd have parted me out a LONG time ago.

Mudsir - Smart. Soooo many ways to get screwed without one. And the 3.9 is a V8, right? Aluminum? I always wondered what they were like...

    Piiiiiiiiics!

And I haven't the foggiest about Rovers... Except they can cross rain forests with comfort and a busted cooling fan.

Pics will be coming when my son returns my camera .
    UPDATE!

    THE BAD!
The frame has major rust damage by the right front cat.
    drivers floor behind front wheel
front spring/shock mount rotted drivers side
    rear window frame rotted
believe the tranny issues are because of a streched shifter cable
tires looked good, but are serious cracked and leaking
    THE GOOD!
The engine turned over and some of the electrical works after charging a completely dead battery
    4 wheel disc brakes
    coil spring suspension

engine will not keep running after spray fluid into the intake ,fires for a moment then nothing . So i have a fuel pump issues and the rust is just serious in places . Still on the wether to keep it or part it out . I will get a better price if i can get it running.

spent a little time today on the rangie. I cycled the key 5 times like bandit suggested. I can tell she wants to run. Close a few times but no cigar. Been sitting for while with an empty tank. Going to buy some injection cleaner maybe it can cut though the crap and get the engine started. I want say thanks to the guys who took the time to pm me with suggestions

well i gots it running . Exhaust smells like old gas. Another 10 bucks with some injection cleaner should help. Then see if the tranny is good or bad by seeing if she drives. If it checks out then oil change, plugs, wires, belts, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
Dad used to say"son if it's got tits or tires , it's goner cost ya money"

Well jeepers i'm selling the rangie. Spent the day with the old girl and she'd make a good parts truck. It's sat to long and needs a lot of tlc to even use it as an offroad rig. To much frame rot that with the range rover as flexing as it does will over stress the frame. To many electrical issues and needs for me.
