    new jeep!!! needs tlc ;)

well ended up grabbin another jeep super excited about it too ...

basically it like a frame up resto, and i have been putting everything back together and getting it road ready

it a 95 yj swapped out the motor/tranny for one from a 99tj (4.0lt HO/5spd) axles have been yanked out and replaced with a HPD44 with detriot locker 513 gears and inner/outter chomoly shafts, cross-over steering setup (which will be changed over time to high steer) rear FFD60 true trac posi with 513 gears, anti wrap bar, SOA with 2.5" rubicon express springs, 231 t-case with SYE,

also has a 3" body lift which i plan on yanking out for just a 1"... did a few patches on the typical spots both side of tub underneath jeep and rear passenger side were rear body mount in was soft..

basically so far i have put the rear 4 body mounts and bolt back in, did body work, painted entire jeep, fixed some loose wiring under the hood, got the winch working again, put head lights and tail lights and stuff back on as well, put all the wiper arms and wiper motor and assembly all back in, attach rear seat, few other small misc things

basically for road worthy all i have left to do is get new headlights, couple blinkers, put flares back on, and replace front pads

future plans include flat fenders, custom cage, beadlocks, rear tj flares or bushwhacker flares (as i dont like the looks of the ones i have now) swap body lift from 3" to 1", high steer set up,

If yer doin tubes up front, then why not tube flares in the rear too?

Makes for a real sweet beefy look to go with those Boggers...

Good decision. Round headlights add another 15% horsepower and 2" to the end of your peepee

Some flat springs would look nice in there with no BL. Get out the zip wheels and lose some sheet metal and gas the T case drop.

Nice lookin truck tho. Sounds similar to mine last year, it worked awesome.

Would that mean that a YJ front clip would bolt up to my CJ too?

    My Old JEEP

I m glad you are liking my jeep so much!!!! This jeep was done by my husband and myself the frame was sanded down and painted and it already had Dana 44 and a Dana 60 in it when we brought it and I purchased the detriot locker and chromly shafts since we kept breaking them....This jeep is an awesome jeep and will do well I know that because I drive them like I own them!!

Well got the flares and winch all back together all the lights needed and she is pretty much ready to go for cert minus the front pads that need to be replaced for cert....

Thinkin about maybe swapping the flares out for some t flares, like the looks em better, and I think once I get the flat feenders and full cage done I'm gonna re paint it olive drag green

Have some new pics but can't get em to load off my cell here ...
