    86 dodge hauler

ok well the plan is to by 2012 have a 86 dodge diesel 6x6 tandem dualy with 4 ft sleeper and 8 ft flat deck

well i have the 86 dodge 2 wheel with great body on it and last night i made a deal to get a 89 4x4 diesel that was built for tractor pulls so a ton of power and a black blowin turned up diesel (yay) so this winter my good body will go on that frame and stage one of getting diesel and 4x4 will be acomplished and the frame extended the sleeper and flatdeck on then next winter will be getting the tandem 4 links and air sytem in

wish me luck folks and as the stuff comes so will pictures

    Sounds ambitious!

i dont find it all that ambitious to be honest its taking a decent frame and body streching the frame and adding a extra axle beyond that its all cake

you want to use a 12v cummins thats "built" for pulls to haul on road? hopefully you plan on "detuneing" it a bit. IE fuel plate. smaller injectors. otherwise i immagine youll be melting pistons towing anything on the road. i even have to take my powerstroke out of its "hot" tune to tow anything with some good weight any distance.
