    tires

Anybody ever hear of Electra Ironman M/T's. I can get a set for $135 a tire mounted and balanced. I tried looking them up for 2 hours, everything I found just took me straight to Hercules web site, but there was no Ironman m/t's listed.

I like Cooper and Hercules; we used to sell them at my brother's shop, and Cooper/Hercules are on all of our vehicles. I have no experience with the Electra brand, but would be favorably inclined towards trying them.

What size is the tire? Another thing to look at is tread design & siping of the tread. An MT isn't going to have much siping, but any helps. Do you have a link, or a picture of the tire?

What size lift do you have in your truck? 31's will not fit on a non-lifted truck. 3" with minor trimming is required or 4" with no trimming. I just ask this because of the pic in your avatar looks like it is stock.

If it's in the tread, that's good.

A mushroom plug will work. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=77

You get what you pay for.
If you want to trust $135 off-brand no-name crappy tires then you get crappy tires.
Considering that your tires are the only part of your vehicle that touches the road I'd put something a little better on worth a little more money. Any of the brand name A/T's would work well. Goodyear Dura-Tracs seem to be an excellent A/T tire.

Since I have 3 kids I like to feed and shelter, and a shitty job,$135 seems to be a pretty good price. Beleive me I'd love to be able to just say " yeah I'll take those expensive ones." but hey we cant all be rich.
Anyways here they are.Click image for larger version.
