    04 GMC Sierra cruise control

anyone know what it takes to install a cruise control system on my 04 Sierra? Its drive by wire with a 4.8L V8 standard trans. Just curious if its as simple as changing the signal switch or if there is other modules involved. Any input would be appreciated!

the cruse is done with the computer and drive by wire tb.. you probably need to find a donor truck and scab out the parts that yours is missing, maybe just the blinker lever and the wiring..
Now i have a JEEP I am getting good at fixing things lol

ya man it's a turn signal/ everything module... I started to pull one out of a donor truck but what a PITA to get at, should be a quick, unplug the wiring, couple of screws and done but no, GM decided to throw a bunch of shit in front of it so it's a pain to get at. You can do it but it'll take longer than it really should! Have fun!
