I had built one like that. Drove me insane as it flopped around as the reciever didn't hold it tight enough.

    But looks good.

I prefer to build it and not buy it, you see it, I probably made it.

Would drilling a hole in the side of the receiver and welding a nut on the side help?? Then tighten in a bolt to snug up the spare tire mount???

This is a great mini-build...I may do this for my heap...the body is cracked where the spare tire mount bolts up.

    Good work on the carrier!!!!!

I havent finished the carrier yet! and im going to 45 the end for clearence! the carier fits nice and tight in my reciever and i am using a bolt for a pin so i can tighten it right up! I have just tacked everything in place so far.I will post more pics as i progress with the build.

I've been running a setup like that carrier for 3years now and I'm lookin to build a swing out now....trust me...if ya got a 35 on there and have to open and close it more than twice in a couple min you'll notice what a PITA it is...lol....works good for short term(well ok my short term has been 3years..lmao)...but a swing is much more convienent.....don't mean to sound like I'm raggin on your fab....looks good...and it works...thats the main thing
