spare time, no money and a dremel

Sitting home on a saturday afternoon with nothing to do can very quickly become a make work project. I decided that seeing as my Smittybilt fenders were not coming in until June to say forget it and go back to original plan. I figured I'd go play in the garage. My passenger rear fender had a nice dent in it from last years Greens run and a rather solid tree. Decided to finally pull out the dremel and cut the rear fenders to match the fronts.

This is the fenders before I started

Inner fenders pulled out to reveal much of Hamilton that I aaprently brought home with me (this is after the initail wipe down)

Tape all layed out for a nice even cutting line

    Nice even cut

All trimmed out and cleaned up properly

All thats left now is to spray the rocker guard in the inner fenders, mount the new rear bumper, install new CB antenna, and shes all ready for another year. Its actually nice to fronts and rears done the same, makes Jeep look more uniform.

I will use the firestick on the tailgate. I made up an ABS plug that I used with the original ball mount template to cover the hole and it works alright. Not the best solution but it works.

Once the inner fenders get painted black rocker guard the rocker wont look too bad.

As for tires??? Thats as big as they get unless someone else comes up that wants to trade 37's for my 35's.

Yes it looks good Ron. now out of curiosity... how much of the Green can be trimmed? that would also clean it up and make room for larger tires.
