There was a guy in or near Stevensville that was dealing deuce parts for years. Don't know if he is still there. They pop up on Throttlehappy from time to time as well. Also, the guy you got the tons from out Belleville way had a few sets of rocks for sale.

    And dare I ask why?

I possibly know of a built set. Were in the $2500 ball park and in Ottawa area.
Send me a pm if interested.

There is also a shop in Teeswater that rebuilds etc Deuce trucks. I cant remember name but will be driving by tomorrow.

There is a set of 3 with frame in Flesherton at the wreckers. He wants a g for the whole works. I cant remember if they were top loaders.

Someone also pointed out that the early deuce axles are run opposite direction compared to standard axles. IDK if that is true so dont quote me.

Front loading GM style Timkin and Rockwell 2.5's were the ones that spin backwards. A neat set up for a rear engine buggy but just about useless for anything else with a conventional driveline as you would need a reverser box to make it work. Toploaders require only minor modifications to have the chunk flipped for reverse rotation - common when running a steer axle out back. In stock form, they are standard rotation.

You had your jeep out the other week for a run, so I am taking a guess that it is back in the garage torn apart and another idea in your head!
