Putting in a 6.5" BDS long arm kit in My Xj

My lift came in the other day. Its a 6.5" BDS long arm kit. I also picked up an Advanced Adaptors SYI.

    Oooooo pretty boxes.

First thing I decided to is the rear leafs. Good bye 3" Blocks

And holy moly where the a mother$#@%#@ and a half! Yes my shirt is Badass

But I got them out without breaking any of the welded nuts in the frame. Need to get new bolts though will have them tomorrow hopefully.

Quit the upgrade I must say from stock eh!

Get the pics up of those new springs in there!

And yes, those stands did come from Costco. They had a skid of them for $19 each a few years ago... still wishing I bought a few more sets.

thanks everyone!!! For drive shafts i am going to run stock front in the front and for the rear I have a RE hack and tap that should be getting delivered today for the rear then i am going to get a stock front drive shaft lengthened and rebuilt with a flat flange adaptor that will bolt to the hack and tap. Thats my plan right now but may change in a few days.

Thanks I am really happy with my beast. I think the 33's are perfect. Hopefully will be able to hit the trail next weekend or shortly after. Hack and tap install tomorrow if all goes to plan.

Got the rear drive shaft in today !! Went for a few little drives around town tonight. All I can say is that I am really happy. Rolls good! Hurts the balls getting in and out of it though.

Havent drove it off road yet but did test the flex on it at a local gravel pit to see if there was any rubbing. As for the rear tire i have it ratchet strapped in the position it is in the above picture. I am planning on making a rear tire carrier for the back bumper. I drew up a few designs but still need to figure out what route I am going to go. The jeep is to high to throw it on the ruff
