    Guess I should have been more clear, I have googled and read about this and I have arranged to borrow a tub bender and was wondering the thickness of tubes that people use and the guage of the steel used? I sure someone had this info.

    16ga sheet metal 1.5 .120 wall tube, CREW or DOM. I like a little overkill tho.

    do you want flat fenders or tube fenders?

    I have MCE flat fenders... they are made of flexible plastic and are flat and tucked right in, its like having no fenders on the front...

    It does suck when its raining and your running doorless though.
    They were alot cheaper then the tube fenders and alot easier to install.

    I can post a pic if you want.

    Edit:

    I should add, I have rubbed mine off trees and rocks and they bend and flex, and return to original shape with no cracking or distortion...

    My trail head customs flat fender. Just move the tree! And don't bend or break! His stuff is tuff as nails.look him up. Cheaper than you think.
