    Portraits of Honour

To make a long story short, my wife and I were in Cold Lake, AB last week for vacation and saw information for this: which was there as part of the current cross country tour.

As my wifes cousin is one of the fallen, we attended, and got pictures for the family.

On the way out, I got some more pictures. One is of the sidewalk and the 157 flags lining it. The other is of the flag for a name that I recognized from my time spent here.

I highly recommend that you see this if the tour comes near you.

First, thank you for the link and the picture.

Second, they don't appear to be around the GTA at all. They're in Sudbury early October and Ottawa on Remembrance Day (ROAD TRIP!!!!), and that's as close as they get.

Edit: Just found out there were in Hamilton and Oakville early this year... I wish I knew.

I take care of the elevator where the portraits of honour was painted.... There are 5 or 6 tables spread in a line with a picture of the soldiers that Dave used to referance for the painting...When you see how many brave Canadians we've lost it really hits home...

    An absolute tragedy....
