    Hec's 99 2dr Jimmy Build

i know its not a jeep but no reason we all cant get along right? lol

i bought it about 2 weeks ago pretty much stock except for a rearend from a 2005 with a gu6 eaton g80 locker and a magnaflow muffler

got her in the garage and it started to piss out gas right above the gas tank as soon as i was lining it up on the hoist

i knida like the stitches... after a few beers in the shop some friends and i call her Frankenstein lol

this is more of a fixing thread right now as im getting it ready for safety/etest but good stuff will come trust me lol
so far replaced rear calipers with rebuilt ones, rear pads/rotors, front pads, ALL brake lines, couple gas line patches and still need to get front upper/lower ball joints, sway bar links and maybe front flex hoses
my 2" rear shackles arrived last week, fronts getting the T-bar cranked and upper BJs flipped

might be something to do in the future but right now i need it ready for the winter so my other car can be parked for the winter and i can get my lowering suspension in it :P
not the best summer car but it will do for now lol

picked up a Lincoln 140 today which should help with some future projects

and also got some rims/tires from a fellow jeep king member today, thanks again Dean

so its been a slow process but the trucks finally out of the shop and hopefully going for safety/estest this week!
i got around to testing fitting the new rims/tires

and horrible news, i didnt double check my sources for bolt patterns and these wont work so if anyone wants some 15x8 5x4.5 3.75" backspacing pro comp d window rims let me know
i ended up grabbing some irocs this weekend to mount my 31s on to

    new push bar and lights

and a shot with my 2 babies

Irocs are getting refinished in either black/polished or gunmetal/polished oh and 2" body lift got ordered this weekend!

lol you must be following me, ive been on here for awhile
well all the toys are finally here for the truck, i think i wanna get it safetied before i put the lift in though

thought the warning was kinda funny

gas lines were the only thing keeping me from driving the truck, after alot of swearing and cut knuckles trying to get the "quick" disconnects off under the truck i just decided to drop the tank and figured might aswell undercoat it and the rest of the underbody

still needs to be lifted and tires put on but feels good to drive after all the hrs i put into her

so ****ing mad right now! trucks in pieces and every body mount except 1 is loose, i have a stripped bolt and CT,PA, facca all dont sell a 15mm bolt extractor for some odd reason all the kits jump from 14-16mm and its in a tight spot so i dont think i can use the drill extractor type

im not sure what to do so i might cut a hole in the floor and hope i can cut/grind the bolt out and then figure out a way to fix it later lol i have a MIG to patch it back up afterwards... i really dont wanna put the truck back together with no body lift in

Is it that bolt head you are having troubles with? If so have you thought about drilling it out and using a male easy out? probably not enough torque though. Also what about welding something to it to turn it?

thanks, and i was pretty damn close to putting the truck back together and selling the bodylift... glad i didnt lol

i love how they turned out, to bad i cant mount them cause the idiot that installed/balanced the tires for me lastweek just stuck the sticky weights ontop of dirt and 1 just fell off from sitting in the cold in the garage and another feels loose

definitely need to order some spacers for the rear and put my center caps on

everyone said 31x10.5s would clear with a 2" body lift..... dont believe everything u read on the net! lol BFH fixed this issue

atleast most of the frame/underbody is undercoated black lol

and thats with the wheel turned but not fully, BFH seemed to fix it for driving except in reverse and it was only the passenger side that rubbed :S

also i noticed my front bumper looked saggy on the driver side and sure enough its cracked lol looks like its gonna look like the passenger side now with the stitches and i think there might be a custom bumper build in the future
