    My 2000 TJ

Well since the YJ died(and by died I mean rusted out) I needed another jeep. After watching here and on kijiji for awhile I came across a deal from "H8TOWRK" on a 2000 TJ. It ended up that it was the first one I went to look at and it was in good shape and awsome price so I scooped it up.

Its a 2000, 4.0L, 5 spd with 130,000km on it. Got it bone stock aside from some half done bedliner. Also came with the hardtop with tinted windows and a softop.

First up was to address a couple little things, new sway bar links front and rear, new ujoints for the front axle(im pretty sure they were probably original lol), and some new ball joints(werent bad but I had it all apart so why not)

At the same time as the above work I put in a 2'' rubicon express BB which I picked up for cheap from "True''. I had to fit the 33's off the YJ at least :-) I also swapped over my rear bumper off the YJ so i could still haul around my utility trailer.

All the above work was done in 12hrs on the second saturaday I had it. The following week I also had to replace the wiper motor and the blower motor resistor.

Only thing left for now is to swap over my stereo and subs. Anyway on with the pics!

The YJ tub coming off, yes those are the body mounts STILL attached to the frame. To get it off I basically just jacked it up off the frame and pushed it! no undoing body mount here...

Only thing with the BB is it doesnt sit level front to back, what do you guys think of putting a 3/4" spacer on top of the 2" spacer to level it out? was gonna remove the 2" and RTV the 3/4" ontop of the 2" (so its one piece) and put it back in.

That looks like a good start. As far as leveling goes load the Jeep up with your normal amount of gear for wheeling and then see how it sits. There should be a small amount of rake to make up for everything you toss in.

I thought about that when thinking of the leveling kit but realistically I only get out once or MAYBE twice a year, the rest is just camping weekend with friends and i bring a trailer along for those weekends so the jeep is empty 90% of the time. any opinion on the level kit on top of the 2'' spacers rtv'd together?
