As far as i know right now, it has not been stretched, unless the engine was moved forward a bit when the mounts were installed. I think Andrew did the welding on the frame. He'd probably know more than I. My intent though is to push out the rear and possibly the front if i go full hydro.
RIP OD, YOU'LL BE MISSED.... BUT that's OK 'cuz you've been REPLACED !!!

Yep, Andrew did the motor mounts.

If you decide not to go full hydro, take a look at the new front stretch kit from TNT customs. http://www.tntcustoms.com/frontstretchkittjlj.aspx

That's a nice setup.. I've been researching their hyline setup and am leaning towards their products for the front and rears. I can gain about 5" using their fenders.. Add a 3/4" raise with long arms and C/O's pushed through the fenders, a 1" BL and i should be able to run 42's

absolutely... Just tying in the new cage to the frame . Was thinking of taking it out for a shakedown this weekend .....

I haven't even touched it. It's sitting exactly as it was when i rolled it into the shop.. It's going to be a slow build

Should toss that motor in mine seeing as you don't need it for a few years. Wouldn't want it to seize up on ya.

Hmm, FC based on a TJ body/frame? Don't bother with the portals and start cutting - costs nothing. LOL

You talkin' about that FB pic?

That's purdy sweet.. Fakkk i should just give danny a call in Smiths Falls and call it a day

The fact that i have yet to even touch the TJ should give indication on my current spending indiscretions

    Small update...

Picked up a minty fresh TJ frame from Impact up in the Pet.... Dang the stickers were still on the rails it was soo clean! 0 rust. I am going to build this frame up with all the bracketery and then move all the pertinent parts over from the existing setup. Only downside is that i will probably have to buy another set of HEMI TJ motor mounts...

Got it home and proceeded to remove all bracketry except for the PS mount (I have yet to decide 100% whether to go Full hydro or not). Mang, it was a nice change being able to cut off brackets without being on your back and having the metal filiings falling all over you

    Well, this is DEAD...

I sold the TJ carcass but kept all the HEMI components. Since i bought Steve's yellow Rubi, i am out on the trails again... Who know's maybe there's a hemi transplant into the Rubi in the future!!!

Should update this.... Back in April, i had a rust free built up frame shipped up from Cape Cod to replace Impact's frame. Already setup with new Currie shock towers / Genright 3-link, Genright 4-link, Genright Bump cans, rear sway bar, HEMI motor mounts, Hemi skid, BTF rear back half. limiting strap tabs... I just need to get my ass in gear
