    1989 Jeep Comanche

Recently purchased a Comanche, 2x4, straight 6, 5 speed. It's a longbox but it's cool as sh*t. Painted two years ago, no rust, great frame. Can't believe what I got for my money, plus all the extra stuff it came with. Very excited about this truck! Anyone out there have a Comanche?

    Hm... Good conditon eh...

Interior swap, newer front XJ clip swap, bob the box and 44/9 swap with some 36's...

Oh wait I'm dreaming... that's what I would do if I had one

Looking forward to seeing your build!

Nah, I really like the two wheel drive even if it's a long box. Just a loose cannon with the inline six.

I have a buddy thatīs benched a few jeep trannies before, and he works for beer. (thumbs up).

does anyone have any suggestions for the read bumper? its rotted to hell and all i hear is bad review on the bumpers life overall. I thought about just a tube bumper, and i donīt think i was a roll pan wit or w/o the hitch.

also, i need a box liner solution that won't taint its current condition.

haha, it sounds great. Iīm doing the whole interior over. canīt put in buckets though, my dog would be unhappy if she didn't get shotgun. haha.

Looks solid. Jeepman has a nice replacement bumper so you can PM for more info or there are several aftermarket options.

Nice lookin unit. If you're gonna leave it a street runner it'd look sweet with some newer jeep rims and white print tires. I went for the mini monster build with 35's and a 5" but I like the ride and performance of stock 4.0L too.
