    Curt,

WHen I got my Jeep, we had previously done the TFI upgrade... definite improvement. When I rebuilt mine, I used a GM HEI module instead of the TFI box and it improved it even further. GM modules are a dime a dozen in the JY and even cheap from NAPA.

There is a write up somewhere on doing it... I'll try to dig it up. I may have the right distributor hanging around here... just needs a new cam gear.

Check out post 3 of this thread....http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f8/ig...grade-1302931/ I did not install a diode and had no problems.

Well, finally talked to the dude i thought was on the UVIP. No dice, never owned a Jeep truck. So looks like an affidavit of ownership is in order. Pretty sure there's a couple of Notary Publics in my office who can sign. Oh well, saves me some time and gas money i guess.

Maybe you'll change the direction of the build after looking at this:

Ya, talked to the guy a couple days ago. He won't separate anything. All or nothing. And he seemed like a bit of a douche. Hope it's not anyone on here. lol

Not gonna lie, the thought has been bouncing around in my head. lol. Always have wanted a slammed shortbed/shortbox with a v8. What better then a J-Truck! I'll stick with budget beater for now and in a couple years see if it's time to slam it or throw on tons.

Yup, called him a couple weeks ago about some stuff. I might go check out some fenders and doors when the time comes. I never even thought to ask about the grill. Good call!

Should update. Got a 304 for a couple hundred bucks that had a fairly fresh ignition. Definite upgrade. Gonna steal the dizzy, coil, icm, plugs, wires, what not and keep a few spare parts.

    An added bonus

So then i needed to track down a 4 barrel carb. Picked up a pretty healthy looking holly for $100. This things gonna be thirsty!

    Opinions

The AMC 360 with that edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb or sell it and grab a free good shape running TBI 454?

    Death Proof

Leave the 360 in it and put the TBI on it. Less work same result.
My latest project... Collection of Parts
