    New jeep, same old me.

Hello everyone! I'll start with an introduction.

I have been on this site for some time.
Bought an 86 xj that was already rednecked out, had some fun with that!
Then I bought a 2010 JK off the lot and started building right away, as I already had the offroading bug.
I had less than 10 thousand kms on it before I had the lift and 35's.
I had a lot of fun with it and beat it up. Took that jeep to places many would not follow, as I was really interested to see what my jeep could do.

Here is a picture playing in some sand:

I recently found out that my girlfriend and I were going to have a baby! So as any of you 2 door owners out there can relate, there is ZERO room in those things. I knew I had to give up my baby. OK to clarify, I could have just gotten an SUV, but lets be honest here, I have always liked the 4 doors, and the new engine in the 2013 was calling my name.

I stripped what I could but ultimately had to sell the jeep with most of the parts on it. (I again apologize to those who were excited about the parts, I did not intend to sell as a whole).

I ended up with a 2013 Sahara. Not my first choice, but I was excited about the options I would have in comparison to my stripped down bare bones sport, that didnt even have air conditioning.

The dealerships in my immediate vicinity like to cater to the soccer moms and only carry either base models or decked out saharas. Therefore, I figured it was time for an upgrade. What I am looking most forward to is the built in power inverter, the ac for our baby if it does get too hot out, and the trunk space for our dog.

So long story short, I will be building this one up similar to my 2010, and hoping to be wheeling by the summer time.

Im located in the Deep River/ Petawawa area, and a member of Twin Rivers Offroaders. Any Ottawa Valley Jeepers who are interested in hitting some trails, feel free to PM me or search Twin Rivers Offroaders in the groups section and join up!

So as an old member with a new jeep, Hello!
