fawk okay.. My Build is now back on!!! I hate all this flip flop... instaling the axles and springs tomorrow with the tires to be able to role around my chassis and sand it all down for primer. Once thats done, Driveline will go in then my tub and start the body work.

Yea very pleased, today I'm finishing up with the frame. By the way what's the best way to paint leaf springs? Take them apart or leave them together? And where can you buy the studs that centre the axle on them?

I have read to not paint leaf springs while seperated as they tend to "stick" to eachother after you put them back together.

And you think the paint stuck together is going to inhibit the spring operation? Hmm no.

You can take them apart, powder coat (lower heat, longer duration) then run nylon isolators between them.
More money-yes but they look good for a long time.

Kenilworth spring on Rennie, just off Woodward in Hamilton.

Another option would be Parkdale spring on Brampton, just off Parkdale in Hamilton.

The two shops are about 2 minutes away from each other. They deal mainly with large trucks but will likely have what you are looking for.

Well I was back at it after school today, frame is pretty much done. My dad is bringing me home the sandblaster from his work tomorrow so I can get in a few area's that I couldn't get the wire wheel and stripper disc in. Click image for larger version.
