    My First YJ Build.

well. figure i should show off what ive been working on for the last few months.

I scooped this thing up off kijiji last year as a "beater".... I realized quickly I couldn't own a bone stock jeep.

    Day I picked it up.

Dude told me it had a hair line crack close to the steering box... never owning a YJ I figured it shouldn't be a big deal to weld up and be on my way. NOPE.

so I started stripping her down.

I didnt take any pictures of the lift install because we did it in a couple hours.

This is how it rolled out with 1" body lift, 4" spring lift, 1.25" shackle lift.

    Started sanding.

    Goodbye stock spare tire carrier

Wow, lots of work done, but it's worth it!

    Very nicely done.

If I was a Jeep, they'd have parted me out a LONG time ago.

Great build and love the colour (makes me miss my first YJ which was the same until I painted it because I disliked the colour at the time). Are those Metalcloaks or custom made copies?
