Or in some cases to just reach out, to show some sort of appreciation for what these men and women sacrifice.

There will be many opportunities and ways for anybody and everybody too help out in all of those mentioned ways. The exact details of all of those have not been fully worked out, but we will keep everybody updated through this thread and future announcements here on JeepKings.ca

This is a wicked Idea guys, great work. Keep posting what you need, I have quite a few things laying around here i would donate if required. Despite what you may think as I tend to be a blah blah blah working with the OF4WD board I can spin a wrench pretty good. Working shift I have lots of time off so put me to work.

Again, Kudos to JK and the crew on such a great project Idea.

thinking that a JK convoy to the base would be an amazing way to really show these men and women how important their efforts are, and how much they are appreciated. AND an amazing way to honour one of thier own.

Will be keeping an eye on this thread for more info on how I for one can help with this project. wouldn't get in the way with wrenching, but will certainly love to help out in any other way I can.

    Bumping this back up.

The project begins, follow the build thread here.

We are currently looking for some donations of parts.

We are in need of a 4.0L engine, AW4 transmission and a 231 out of a 6 cylinder.

    Details of what is needed:

4.0L engine - would prefer it be from a TJ between 97 and 99, but will consider all options.
To go with the engine we will also need a complete wiring harness and computer from a 97 to 99

AW4 Transmission with harness and computer

    6 cylinder 231 with 23 spline input

That is all for now, at the present time we are looking for straight up donations and do not have the funds to pay for these items.

Put me down for the AW4/harness/computer. Think i have some other parts for it too, shifter, flywheel, pedal, etc. Sure i can find another when my time comes. I'll do some sniffing around for a motor and tcase too.

I also want to throw out a BIG thank you to STAANG'S FAB as they have graciously donated an 8.8 rear axle with a bracket kit welded on to allow it to bolt in to a stock TJ setup!! Thanks to the guys at STAANG'S - Eric, Jimmy, and Billy.
