    TowBar and plating?

I have heard that if your rigs wheels touch the ground it has to be insured and plated...is there any truth to this...or is it like the tow dolly thing where you just need to have rear lights?

    Thanks for any help

To be brief, when towing a vehicle with a tow bar, no it doesn't require plates or insurance.

For a more detailed answer, could I ask you to refer to the thread in this forum entitled "Flat tow/tow bar"? It will give you a far more detailed answer.

    Cheers!
