Premium Heat Treated DIMPLE DIES at a price you can afford from TMR CUSTOMS!

Due to all the research/testing involved these have been a long time coming. We're pleased to debut what we believe is the best Dimple Die on the market.

CNC machined in-house from the highest grade domestic materials available, TMR Customs Dimple Dies are a tool that will last you a lifetime, at a price that won't break the bank!

Dimple dies/flared hole dies are used to add strength and rigidity to sheet metal panels.

Each die starts life as a solid billet of high grade domestic steel. We CNC machine each dimple die to exacting tolerances in-house on our Mazak CNC Turning Center. After the machining is complete, each die is sent to a dedicated heat treat facility and hardened to the optimal hardness level. After heat treating, each die is sent to a dedicated coating facility where they are coated not only for good looks, but also to protect your investment in a high quality tool.

WARRANTY: To guarantee these are the highest quality dimple dies on the market we stand behind them with our LIFETIME WARRANTY!

THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK IS ONE OF OUR SETS!

3 PIECE DIMPLE DIE "STARTER" SET FOR ONLY $169.95
5 PIECE "CRAFTSMAN" SET FOR ONLY $289.95
5 PIECE DIMPLE DIE "FABRICATOR" SET FOR ONLY $429.95

Nice looking product at a great price...out of curiosity, what thickness of material can they do? What size press do you recommend?

They are designed for up to 1/8" chromoly. We use a 20 Ton press here at the shop to flare all our plate, we recommend anything 12 Ton or larger.

We've got them in stock and ready to ship. You can order by phone or online, or if you have a local shop that carries our products please give them a call.

Like I mentioned above - 12 Ton or larger is what we recommend. They are black oxide coated.

What are your hours? I will see if I can come up this week or what would it cost to ship to Mississauga / Brampton? Might be the same price as the fuel to drive.

That would be completely dependent on the type of material. They are rating them up to 1/8" thick Chromo...though, they don't say what Chromo alloy or treatment. Without more information, it could be generalized that at the very least, it is reasonable to suggest that the dimple dies will work on 10 gauge metals that have lower strength properties than chromoly since 10 gauge is only .0095" thicker than 1/8".

The die clearance is based on 1/8" max sheet thickness. They would work on the 10 gauge, but it wouldn't be ideal because the Die will not completely bottom out.

Personally, I can't see the need to dimple/flare holes on thicker than 1/8" plate, unless you are doing it for cosmetic reasons. These are designed to strengthen light weight sheet metal fabrications.

I'd be happy to make some sample flared holes on the 10 gauge if you would be willing to supply the material.

I was just wondering because I ordered your dimple dies over the weekend and I have quite a bit of 10 gage scrap in my shop. I will be using them for lighter gage metal as they are intended for. Thanks for the quick reply.
Cant wait for them to show up at my door.

No worries, let us know how the Dies work out for you. We'll be writing a simple 1 page manual for them, as well as an instructional YouTube video.

That's a cool display. How does one make the jaged one? Do you cut the teeth after you press the die?
