No worries.... What else have you done? What plans do you have?

So far it only looks like a bad paint job. No offense intended.

not sure yet what theme... Like the ideas with the softdoors though.. I can proly cut out some neat stuff from stainless or aluminium for the frame work.. Will even bend some tubes for the door frames... First thing I want to find are some new bumpers.....

^ what I'm wheeling has nothing to do with this so called build thread....

maybe if there was some tech on how he painted it or some kind of plan as to what he was doing I wouldn't have asked what they were or why. Last time I checked this was an open forum and the OP did ask for our opinion in the original post.

He or anybody else doesn't need to like what my opinion is. I've been around for a while and i'm getting tired of these bad lame ass threads.

so really... what does this build entail? what plans does the OP have for the poor TJ with the bad colours? are we looking at a mall crawler or a mud machine?

so IMO make it a build thread or move it to Mini builds or General jeep chat.

Don't understand why brantfordjoe is getting slammed for his comments? OP asked for feedback. At no time did he say "only post how awesome I am". Joe is just voicing his opinion on this ugly coloured Jeep. The paint job looks good but the theme is hideous. Now if Dez wants to drive around in a Jeep that looks like that, good for him. But a colour theme like that is bound to get feedback like Joe posted.

    ^ I found the problem.

Seriously, though, not everyone is a cheerleader and feedback can be had in a positive, negative and critical manner. OP asked for feedback in a public forum and got it. C'est la vie. Whoopdee-freakin-doo.

As well, the absence of any information or tech also opens the door to less than favourable feedback. It certainly won't help things. OP, needs to start some dialogue on his build or we might see a HGTD because of feedback butthurt.

So, fill in the blanks...add details about your build.

So Dezmond don't let guys like Joe get you down.

It's your jeep to build the way you wish, paint the way you want and drive where you want to.

But he is giving you good feed back... Where is the build? Get some of your ideas out here and show what you have planned and have done other than paint.

Grow some thick skin and prove him wrong.
My latest project... Collection of Parts

Other stuff... Building a doubler, D300 Flip kit

I understand where you guys are coming from for sure!!! Good and bad are appreiciated... My son wanted to pick the colours of the jeep so I let him he is 9 and loves Red and Blue.. I thought why not? It was going to be a quick re paint but I decided to strip the majority down and do it right the first time.. I plan to take the tub off in the spring next year and do a 3" lift with new rubber and rims. These things are great to work on... It's been a blast!!!! I want to have this as my DD as well to take me trapping in the woods when needed.. Not too big on rock crawling.. I do have a bunch of pics from before and up to now.. I will post them for sure. I did the raptor liner kit on the whole inside as well as the topper.. It is a great product to use and work with..

Also I hope to fab my own center console and amp and sub enclosure for it over the winter.

Not mad... I know this is a WACKED out colour scheme.. Kinda like me I want it to be one of a kind.. hahahah so I guess it is.. My son and daughter love it.. So that makes me happy.. I will make sure to get some pics up from what I did.... Maybe this should be under the mini build as I didn't do a whole lot to it? I did lights, switches, led interior, stereo upgrade, TB upgrade with spacer, exhaust, Steering box (Durango) upgrade....

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

    Dezi
