    Dune buggy.

    That's awesome. I used to have a 72 beetle. Loved that car. I always wanted a heavily metal flaked fiberglass buggy. I hope some day I will.

    This also has a custom tube chassis, no flimsy pressed steel tub that you see on regular beetles. Also the rear suspension is identical for both super and non-super beetles. The front suspension is off a '68 and is the ball joint set-up no kingpins.

    Finding an old heap is the first hurdle. The second is getting the new body and choosing to either shorten the frame or get the tube frame. Like any project money is always an issue.
