What's wrong with the truck? I know my way around the 5.9L 12 and 24 valves. Might be able to help. Not close to you though. Lol

Why start two threads? Really now...

Same questions as I posted in your other thread; Dodge, other truck, or off-highway (a.k.a. "Construction") application?

So two treads going on this same topic, with no response to questions in either thread! CTD NUT was the one I was speaking of but if you can't answer a few questions or even reply to the thread.... then you really must not need help or just trolling?

Threads merged and placed in Daily Driver Tech...no need for two threads asking same questions...and no need for it to be in Jeep Tech.

Cycle the key on and off 3 times and tell us what codes appear in the OD display.

Hmm...I would try it again. There should be a 4 digit number after the "P". And I'm not 100% sure but I think on an 02, it should read "P DONE" at the end of its code scan. If this doesn't happen, it may need to get plugged into a scanner to go any further.

I'm not sure what our company policy is when it comes to working on Dodges. If you're looking for people that know your truck, I suggest Arthur Chrysler... http://www.arthurchrysler.com/index.htm

We can try with a really good code reader.....but the 98.5 to 02 2nd gen CTD's have several unretrievable codes without using the appropriate scanner. I'd give it a shot for you. You have to start somewhere.
