As Pav said, these can be found, but are somewhat rare. The odd time you will find one locally for a good deal. I have a NOS one also- and these usually bring $600 to $1000. A lot of $ for a plastic bin, I think.

my 85 cj7 only cost me $500. . so to spend $300- $1000 on a plastic tool bin in it just is wrong.
My wifes cj7 is a mutt its made up of 7 jeeps and 1 AMC eagle cost us in all $4500 but its all fiberglass

$500 for your CJ is a deal that's for sure. Just keep your eyes open for the storage box- you might come across one for far less ($50-$100). I've seen them in that range on a rare occasion. They are definitely cool.

Yep $500, owners kid had blown a 3rd motor in it and wanted $2500 but no one wanted it at that price with out one. I waten all winter and hit him up in the spring. he said $500 but you got to take it today. I had the tow bar hooked up to it and was towing it home 10 min later I had all the tools and the tow bar in the truck. I towed it home pushed it into the shop and pulled the 258 out of my CJ5 and did a swap that night and drove it back into town the next day. to this day the old owner thinks al I did was change the coil. and it ran.

Jan 13, 2012- New Front Bumper Pics

Thanks to the help of my good pal Pav1, over the weekend we removed the homemade front bumper and replaced it with a beautifully repainted original one. Also installed an NOS front "Jeep" frame cover, as well as got the rear ready to install the OE bumperettes (also restored to new condition). Check out the NOS Whitco soft top too- Pav1 gave it to me as a gift for being his friend
