Hahah putting the tub on was a royal pain in the ass....doesn't help both of us had over 12 beers into us lol. Taking it off with the engine hoist and 2 people was a breeze though! Lol

So got some good news today! The bank approved us so now we at Interior Ideal can get going with our income property! With work getting going the build should be taking off big time over the next month or so!
But over the weekend we got to making room for the back half I'm doing outta 2" DOM, fuel cell, rad, spare etc and also just to shed some unwanted weight lol.

Seems I just keep cutting more and more off but I think I'm finally done cutting other then to make room for the seat mounts! And going to weld the corners back on at some point!

Holy schite it's been awhile since I've been on here. Well works been crazy busy trying to get our flip done, bad electrical and painting with be the death of us lol. Oh well we got it up to code and now on the finishing touches and we'll be on the market soon! I haven't had very much time free to spend in the shop, but last weekend we got some time and a bit of work done!
Little bit of a change of plans with the drivetrain. I decided that since summers going to be over in a blink of an eye that I don't want to order adapters if I don't have to to save some time. So instead of running the TH400 I'm sticking with the Ram tranny since it blots right up lol, and just so happens that the Jeep Rubicon NP241 slides right onto the tranny too!!! Couple weeks in waiting on parts saved not to mention about $1500-$2000 saved! Didn't get much done other the the drivetrain put in place and the tub cut to clear. I'm hoping that this weekend I can get the trans mount done and axles linked other then steering, but we're more then likely working so I'll see how things go lol. But when the house is done we're taking a week to blitz on the jeep and hopefully have a roller or close to by the end of the month!
With 1 tons and this monster she's going to be one heavy ass jeep!

Probably going to lose the entire floor once we get started on the cage lol

Really wish I could keep it this flat but she's either gotta be lowered about 5" or I gotta drop the tranny a bit lower lol

And the body's off again lol

Oh yeah, my build thread! Lol well not much has happened since my last update, just more cutting and changing things I've already done lol. Didn't have to much time over the last while to work on the jeep. Things were kind of crazy with work and had to make a few investments to our construction company witch took finding away from the build but we're getting back on track now! Nothing's really changed with the focus on the build we've just decide to cut basically the entire tub apart! Floors gone and firewall is gone! Going to build by own floor and firewall off the cage! Still have the grill, hood, cowl and side skins from the body and plan on not cutting up anything else now lol. We also picked up a bunch of goodies over the last little while, not much but got some pretty awesome stuff, tools and parts!

What we ended up doing for the rear 4 link. Took 2 TMR brackets and made one!

The final time setting the rear link mounts! Lol

I just couldn't stop cutting! I really should not have ever bought an almost new Rubicon in 2007 lol oh well to late now lol

This was a massive struggle in the shop for most of 2015! Mixing our construction company and jeep build all in one shop! But we now have a separate location for work so just the build in the shop and it's finally 100% organized now lol

Cleaned up what I'm keeping of the stock frame rails of all old brackets, scars and unwanted holes!

Body mounts are gone now too!

The best place to clear my head when things were getting stressful last year!

    New welder for the shop!

    Pro Tools bender!

Built my own axle stand for welding up trusses and doing gears if I ever learn how to set them lol

Scored this for free! Some guy had it at the end of his driveway and told me to take it!

    Some Radflo beef!

Some TMR beef and the bender before I set it up!

    100' of 2" 120 wall DOM!

Some TMR tabs to mount the coil overs and body panels to the roll cage!

It was only a matter of time before the jeep started to rot away! So much crap jammed in the torque tubes!

    Just the skins now!

And the start of the back half! Got it mocked up this past weekend!

Seams to be my only helping hand in the shop as of late! Lol

Back half mocked up but my eyes were a little crooked so I'll have to readjust lol

And that's it for now! Hopefully will have the cage this coming weekend!
