Yes, this is absolutely a great event. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a Jeep wanting to try their hand at off roading. It will be a lot of fun and you will meet new people with all different levels of off road experience. It is a great way to learn about your jeeps real capabilities and learn about this great community.

it sounds like jk101 is full? is it.
I dont want to get my hopes up and then find its full. I would love to go and meet you guys there. I had alot of off road experience in the army but driving a 6x6 or tracked vehicle is at least a little different. My main reason for going was to get to know some of you guys on here and then learn what I dont know.

Looking at the thread I would say that there are spots still available as I am sure the organizers would post that it is full, you may want to book your spot before it does fill up though.

thanks for the info. I dont want to sign up and take someone elses spot and then not be able to show up besides throwing the reg. money away. What I really need is drive shafts so I dont expect any help with that. Thanks though!!

Due to demand and some minor changes in logistics on our end we have been able to increase the limit to 50 vehicles.

There is still spots available, sign up today...these added spots are a good opportunity for those who have
been before and wanted to attend again this year but have been holding back to let others have a chance.

Can I register, and get a refund if something comes up? I'd love to come, but work can sometimes pull me in on a weekend at a moments notice

Unfortunately there is no refunds once registered. Please understand that some of the money paid through registration goes to cover costs of food purchased, etc. for the numbers confirmed. Our caterer needs numbers so he can prepare for the event and we can't change those numbers at a moment's notice.

    Hey guys,

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler but am new to off roading. This event sounds perfect and I was wondering if it is pet friendly? I would be attending solo but have 2 german shepherds who would like to tag along. They are friendly of course.

Also is it possible to add a passenger down the road? I am going to register solo but a buddy may want to ride along. Oh and is there any mandatory safety equipment?

Very valid. I totally understand, i was just wondering. I won't register then until last minute if there are any spots left, I don't wanna take someone's spot. Are there any other runs that a newbie like me could go on in may?

If you can't attend jk101, I would suggest hooking up with a jeep club in your area, BAJA is a large group that centres in Brampton, you can look them up on FB or there are a ton of members on this site. I would do your best to attend, jk101 is more than just trail rides, we provide education into how, when, where and what to wheel, the do's and don'ts and much more information.
