    Are stubby front bumpers legal?

Was wondering if stubby (grille width) front bumpers are legal in Ontario, or do I need a full/mid width one? Thanks!

Coley curious too. (Granted I've never heard of anyone getting a front-bumper ticket unless I missed something)

I was reading on US forums opinions that certain states would have some type of regulations mandating full width bumpers.

The topic of modifying vehicles has been discussed on a number of occasions here, and there are a few threads which deal with this sort of question. I have mentioned before, there is no law dealing specifically with swapping out a front bumper (for example), but you need to be aware of the implications when it comes to vehicle safety, and federal standards.

As an example (above), and it also has a link within that thread I just posted, which will take you to a further discussion of modifications.

Please have a look through those links, in the end only you can make the decision whether or not to do modifications.

    Hope this helps!
