    Jeep friendly dealer?

I've been looking for a used but newer rubicon new enough that I can get it financed, and half the ones at dealerships have street tires and the few I see have worn mud tires. Had a salesman Menzies Chrysler tell me the 1/4 thread left on a set of mud terrains was like a band new tire.

I realize this gets asked on here frequently enough, I was hoping to find a dealership that would be willing to work with me on a jeep, I want as many things fixed (like new tires and a winch) as possible so I don't have to go out of pocket on anything for a while.

Bannerman Motors, Toronto are good. They expect you to take your jeep off road. Don't know if they have used stock though.

Also, I have a WARN Ti95 Winch for sale. Used one season. Check my ad in JK Parts. If you are getting a JK then this is the winch for you.

    Re: Jeep friendly dealer?

I had great help from the service department at woodbine chrysler when my JK's motor went. Haven't dealt with their used car guys but it's worth checking.

    Jeep friendly dealer?

I've seen a few modified wranglers at unique Chrysler in Burlington. They claim to be wrangler specialists....

Peel has a brand new 2013 plain Jane for 20,000, that is so cheap I could almost justify buying it and spending 10 more at a shop getting it right. But then I'd hate to scratch up a new car...

For everyone else it is doable and we deal with dealers all the time this way.

CAUTION: Stay AWAY from Taylor Chrysler in Hamilton... TERRIBLE Experience with Recall work... couldn't even put in the plastic guards with zip ties on my soft top... replaced whole soft top... and didn't align it straight... now more wind noise then a Willy's... couple all that with a damaged plastic side pillar... STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

ATTENTION... GO TO DEWILDT in Hamilton... I believe the OLDEST dealer around... and SUPER friendly to Modified Jeep owners... GREAT SERVICE.... GREAT PEOPLE... GREAT WORK!!!!!!! Definitely worth the drive!!!!

Stay AWAY from unique Chrysler. Biggest rip off artists and their service department sucks... Last vehicle we had go in came out with electrical tap holding on a sway bar mount... Oh an I will never forget when we came back in because we had a head bolt siting on our windshield and the tech came out and said " oh I've been looking for that bolt!" ... Idiots.

    Re: Jeep friendly dealer?

Never delt directly with grimsby chrysler however I did buy a jeep that was serviced exclusively there. The hard top harness wires suffered some damage at one point, they cut out a section, twisted in mismatched gauges of wire then electrical taped the whole thing. No solder was used

X2. Heard enough about them and their practices to steer clear as they have a history of NOT being Jeep/mods/wheeling friendly....quite the opposite, actually.
