    Project Tetanus Shot

With my father reaching the end of wanted modifications to his '70 Dart Swinger he went looking for a new project. My mom wanted us to build a rat rod. We had a one of a few late 30's coupes and sedans but he wants something stripped in the front and all the era's we were finding for our price range had bulbish front ends so he came up with this idea and I found it.

So far it is getting my old SBC 350, linked rear on air bags and will drag frame. Up to that we don't know.

I got to stop posting pics from my phone. I paste the right address but then it changes to a JK Attachment address instead of my Photobucket?

Looks good! I like the suicide style front spring mount. Have you thought about running it without the hood.

Ya he wants a hillborn or a street scoop. Or at least a 14" round hole with the filter poking through. We're ordering a set of tbucket headers that should run right under the rockers with an open 3" pipe with a spiral baffle in it from Speedway motors.

My dad is really rolling on. I was hoping to have more fab time on it but really I just show up once or twice a week and tell/advice him how to do things. Looks like I might have a jeep to drive this summer afterall!

Headers will go to a 3.5" dump that have auger style baffles in them dumping down the sides.

Cheap almost free Sunfire or Cavilier Seats:

    Trans tunnel:

Rear floor REALLY had to be lifted to clear the rear axle and c-channeled frame as it sits so low:
