2002 Jeep sahara deck replacement - now the sub doesn't work ?

Hello out there, I just bought a 2002 Jeep sahara (love it) the stereo is awesome, but it just did't play any cds, so I replaced it with a nice kenwood that plays cds, mps, usb, input jack...but now my my subwoofer doesn't work? now I can play what I want but it doesn't sound that good anymore without that extra little bass.

    any thoughts,suggestions,ideas,hints....?

    thanks for your help

^ pretty much has it right...only thing I will add, Kenwood (and some other manufacturers) typically has a blue AND a blue w/white stripe. The blue is a true power antenna turn on and only works when listening to the radio tuner. The blue/white is a "continuous power" that supplies a 12v output on any source and is intended for turning amplifiers on. If you have both wires, be sure to use the blue/white. Side note --> Kenwood (and some other manufacturers) will also have a blue/yellow, this wire is an input for using factory steering wheel controls with the aftermarket deck (an interface module is required to do this). Be sure NOT to use the blue/yellow.
