    Headlights

Hello all. We have finally recieived our new Jeep after waiting almost six months. My question for all of you is what do you recommend for headlights? I have Lummens in my 08 JK (in the headlight and fog light). My wife wants something better for hers. What do you guys/gals think? Thanks

    haha....um, no. Lol

Those are toys. I'm not sure if those are supposed to be for tuner kids but I assure you that the bulbs pictured are not suitable for replacing proper headlight bulbs!

And x3 on the Trucklite LED headlights. I got them on the CJ and they are nothing short of spectacular if you can justify the price. They are second only to the JW Speaker LED's which are nearly twice the price.

    Re: Headlights

On my jk I used hella ecode housings and ipf fatboy h4 bulbs. Only tricky part is if you want the high wattage bulbs you need to run a relay harness.

Depends on your application which bulb works for the lamp.
I used a picture for quick reference so OP could have another option to come to a decision.
This is at a significant price reduction than the trucklite or jw speaker alternatives out there.
I am using these ones with CREE CXA1512 LED bulbs.
Light output is significantly improved over oem H13/9008 bulbs for my Ram.

^You don't want those led bulbs, avoid them like the plague! The glare is blinding to oncoming traffic, and they are not legal for use on the street. I had a set in my wife's explorer for about two weeks before she told me the flashes from oncoming traffic were enough. They were basically a waste of $100.

I have the truck lites in my 67 f100, and absolutely love them. They have a nice sharp cut off, and give off fully usable light. For the jk I read somewhere you need a harness to run them. Mine came with an extra harness that wasn't necessary with my age of truck.
What the f@wk? I cut this steel twice now and its still too short!

    Headlights

Northridge sells an IPF kit that includes glass housings, H4 bulbs and a pigtail for the connector. Infinitely better than stock. Been running mine for 3-4 years, best $150 I ever spent on the JK.

The bulb picutred ^there is a far cry from the ones you showed in your first post. I've been interested in the ones pictured for my Dodge as well but couldn't find much info on how they performed in the OEM headlight housings or if they worked ok with CANBUS and DRL's.
