    Race-Spec Buggy For Sale - Tons of Great Parts - May Part Out - TurnKey!!

    It is with quite a bit of regret that I am putting up my new-to-me buggy for sale, also known as Dirtyperl's "Happy Pill” if you’re familiar with it. Fortunately/unfortunately got a new job and will be moving to the US and I can't bring it with me due to losing my garage space. In hopes of selling it quickly, it is for sale for $10,000 and I'd like to keep the seats for myself. It's value in parts is easily over $12,000-14,000 but it is matter of time and space for me to so I'm letting it go for less. It's very sad to me the timing worked out so poorly for me and I can't keep it after all.

    I would be open to parting it out, I just think it would be such a shame but at the same time if someone is interested in parts you can take the whole thing and part it yourself, then make a profit as well. If there is a lot of interest for parts, I will consider parting but only if I get a buyer for the chassis first.

    I'll try to provide as much info I know about it in this thread with all the good and bad that I'm aware of but Dirtyperl's build thread is here as well: http://www.thorboards.com/index.php?showtopic=3890
    His previous for sale thread is here: http://www.thorboards.com/index.php?...ic=4601&page=1

    Details:

    Suspension, Chassis, and Drivetrain:

    Chassis is a fully tubed 1980 CJ fiberglass hood and front clip, ” skid, and window nets.
    AMC 360 with High Performance cam and lifters, roller timing chain, truck avenger carb, HEI Distributor Edelbrock performer intake
    AMC TF727 Transmission – freshly rebuilt
    Wilwood 7:1 Dual masters, remote res with pedal
    Full hydro steering with PSC 8 “Ram – PSC Racing Orbital – PSC High flow Pump – PSC Reservoir- All the hydraulics are race quality and built by PSC and with exception of the ram, are less than a year old.
    T case is a built Dana 300 with a Tera 4:1 gear kit, upgraded 32 spline rear output, and upgraded front output shaft. It is said to be as strong as an Atlas2 and has twin stick cable shifters. (if parted I’d like to keep this unless the price is too good for me to sell).
    4 KING coil-overs 2.5"X18" Travel, 4 Link Rear, 3 Link Front
    Link arms are made from square 1/4 wall tube with 2.5" Johnny joints on every end except for the pan hard bar.
    It is built to race spec.

    Specs:
    Belly height= 24”
    Height=76.5”
    Width=87”
    Length=150”
    Wheel base=111”

    Axles:
    Front is a Chev Dana 60 with ton outter disk brake conversion made by TMR, High steer full hydro, 35 spline outers and inner shafts, Lock Right Easy locker.
    Rear is a Chev 14 bolt, welded rear Spiders, Disk brake conversion kit, trussed
    Both have plate diff covers and 4:56 gears as well as a pinion guard on the rear.

    4 Irok 39.5X13.5X15 with bead lock 8-bolt rims and about 80% tread . One has a cut in the tread but on the outside and doesn’t effect it. Some rock rash but not too major and just well broken in and sticky.
    Aluminum rad that is rear mounted and has a Taurus fan installed, along with transmission and hydraulic coolers.
    22gallon RCI Fuel Cell
    All welding work done by a professional
    Brand new rear driveshaft built by Precision Driveline
    Never rolled but one side is slightly dented on passenger side
    Flexes great! (which is all I’ve been able to do with it).
    Runs great and started on the coldest of days this winter without hesitation when I had it move it around my garage.
    Engine is extremely easy to work with, 1 power wire to coil and the starter and that all it takes other than fuel and carb was professionally tuned last spring.

    The bad I’m aware of:

    - Minor oil leaks from transmission pan and rear main but I was warned of this when I got it and I hardly have a spot in the garage (or at least I haven’t noticed it on top of the other spots that were there already haha).
    - Front Drive shaft needs a re-and-re but also have a spare (which needs ujoints and a balance).
    - Johnny joints could use a cleaning and greasing

    Also have a set of roller tires to go with it and a few other minor goodies.

    Everything is currently located in Windsor and feel free to PM.

    Cheers
    Aleks

    Gawd I would love this buggy.
    93 YJ - Stock 2.5L inline 4, 4" Rough Country Lift, 1.5" Shackles, 33" BFG's, SYE yet to be installed, Raptor Liner Sprayed, CB, Stereo that goes BooM, Aussie locker front, XJ solid shafts, tube fenders by Tubular Metalworx, 8500lb winch, Garvin swing away tire carrier and clearly far too much time on my hands. No roof, no doors and two screaming kids in the back.
