    How do I reset a Hummer H2 DIC ?

    Hey everyone,

Trying to figure out how to reset the DIC in our 2006 Hummer H2.
Keeps displaying "service 4wd" and "service airbag " an has been for a while. Had truck serviced but the shop did not clear the messages.

Yes I have searched google but with no real result. Does anyone know how to clear these messages?

    Thanks

EDIT: yes I have tried disconnecting the battery. Messages still come up.

The truck was already in the shop for repairs.

If the shop did the repairs, why did they not clear the messages? Isn't that part of what you paid for? Have the shop clear the codes.

On a side note, C.C. has a valid point. For industrial diesel engines (at least the brand I work with), faults switch to "inactive" if the fault has been resolved but the ECM not cleared of the faults. I can't say if automotive ECMs work the same way, but you should consider the fact that perhaps the truck's service didn't correct the issues.

Not sure but also not impressed with the shop at all ( only a few shops are covered by a TLS card)
Finaly figured out how to clear them last night and so far they haven't come back. I know te service 4wd came up after the ice storm and was a faulty sensor but that was repaired.
