    2014 Wrangler willys wheeler

I was going to buy a Wrangler Sport S and by luck end up coming across a Wrangler willys wheeler here in Toronto - That was the one I always wanted but it is an american model so I had no hope for it.

Any experiences with the Willys? Anyone has one?

    Thanks

They had one at the Toronto Auto Show. A buddy of mine saw it, said it was Purdy.

Not sure how is it over priced, got it for the same as the sport S and it has Command-Trac® 4x4 system, a 3.73 Trac-Lok® rear differential, Rubicon rock rails, BFGoodrich Mud Terrain TA® tires, Rubicon Shocks

... and more importantly the burly tow strap, D-rings, heavy-duty gloves and a Jeep branded bag

Not sure about the comment of never seeing the mud, isn't that completely up to me?

Regardless, thanks for the replies folks

So you came across one, but it's not making its way to Canada, then you bought one.

Easy to see the source of confusion... and congratulations on your purchase!

It sounds like a Sport S - Rubicon hybrid with a paint and sticker package and some goodies thrown in for good measure.

So back to your original question... You probably won't find much looking for experience with the Willys edition. Mechanically speaking, I don't see how any '13/'14 Sport S or '13/'14 Rubicon would differ from what you purchased.

Abso-fawking-lutely! Most people won't drop that kind of money on a vehicle just to tear it up in the mud. If you're willing to wheel the fawker, good on ya.

I see now, Sorry guys English not exactly my first language and sometimes I get lost in translation.

What I meant to say was, I saw the model on the internet, loved it but gave up on it since it would be to expensive to import it, then by luck came across one here in Toronto.

The only reason to buy a jeep is to take it out on the Mud, I do not care much about keeping any vehicle scratch free - Knowing myself and some of the other "hobbies" I have, i tend to get into things pretty quick, so far I have been a quick learner. I am sure this summer I will be doing some trails, nothing crazy.

I understand, you guys probably see a bunch of guys like me show up with their shinny new jeeps that will probably just be commuters, post a few times and then never show up again, hoping to be a regular and with time learn and meet some of you.

My name is Paulo, appreciate the responses.

Rock on man and hey nothing wrong with a shinny new jeep showing up to the meets, at the end of the day if you get along with everyone and an role with the punches, it won't matter how old or new your rig is. Just be a good player and have some fun!
Congrats on the new rig by the way.

A nice starter event for you would be JeepKings101 weekend in May. You'll get a chance to learn some wheeling tequeniques and meet some great people off here, not to mention the trail guides are awesome! Stay tuned on here for JK101 event updates as they show up.

No worries man! I'm glad you're happy with your purchase.

Personally I prefer rocks over mud, but that's individual preference. Come out this summer and try both.
