    Question RR HD Steering kit

Does anyone else have experience with the rugged ridge hd steering kit? I just threw it on but just want to know if anyone got tube clamps with their kit? They are not mentioned in any instruction and everysingle pic of it installed, no clamps.. Opinions?

    Cheers lads!

If it's the TJ/XJ/ZJ one there should be jam nuts on the tie rod ends instead of "tube clamps"

Has both, you can see how close the clamps come to each other when on.. That's half my concern the other half is that it's almost impossible to adjust because the clamps bind when you rotate the tubes.. Hmm

    RR HD Steering kit

That don't look right... Mine only had jam nuts.. It looks like there is a slot on the drag link to suggest a clamp, is there also a slit on the tie rod tube? If not I'd say ditch it. That's weird, I've never seen both..

I had ordered an HD steering kit from Rugged Ridge for my previous jeep and when I went to install the kit I noticed a few differences between my stock steering and the new kit. Turns out the had sent me a kit for a YJ instead of one for a TJ. Point being, make sure you have he right kit. The end

My TJ kit never had the clamps, just the jam nuts, sound like you may have the wrong kit.
