Hi there. Total Jeep newbie, just bought a new Wrangler Sport 2-door. My question is whether there will be any kids there. I'd like to take my 13 yr old son but wondering if he'll feel out of place. Thx.

What those guys said, no issues having kids there...my oldest is 14, youngest are 8, I'd have no issues with them being there (unfortunately timing has never allowed it)...the owners of JeepKings.ca have always had their kids there and wouldn't want to run an event that wasn't family friendly.

At night there is always a campfire and of course some people will have some drinks at the fire, but it NEVER gets to the point where I would be concerned about having the kids around.

Only thing is like to point out is that language (shop talk) can sometimes be an issue. As long as you don't mind them hearing the odd cuss word every now and then, I wouldn't hesitate to bring them and I would even encourage it!

Thanks for all the replies re kid-friendly nature of the event. Sounds like a lot of fun and I'll definitely bring my 13 yr old son. See you all there.

I had my 16 year old son and his girl friend with me last year. They had a blast and there were no issues with it not being family friendly.

Yes, yes, and yes! Lol. Most of use haven't had a chance to tune out CB's yet so we just run channel 1. And we would love to have you join us! I'm doing some pretty extensive last minute work too! And won't have time for a proper shake down before departure so I know how you feel!
