    Tail light issue

Has anyone ever installed these lights on their jeep?
Put a set on my heep and they flash as if there is a bulb out but they all work... Just flash really fast.
Is there a way to fix this, any suggestions?

it's because they're LED. you need a controler for them... a resistor

No need for a resistor. Go to crappy tire and get an electronic flasher unit. That'll fix your flash rate.

Believe it, it's all scientific and stuff.

Filament bulbs draw more amps that build heat faster in the resister(flasher switch) that is designed for filament bulbs. Put low-amp draw bulbs in(LEDs draw a fraction of what filament bulbs draw) and the resister will react much quicker due to lower heat(amps).

It's as easy as switching out the flasher for one designed for LED's. Now, if your LED kit is so awesome, why would this not be mentioned in the instructions, or new flasher supplied?

New flasher would add $20-$30 to the kit price so they would rather you figured it out after the fact when they already have your money...

Electronic signal was $10 or so for my CJ. I have LED signals front and back and resistance was so low that a conventional signal relay would not flash at any speed. The electronic relay works perfectly.

perhaps the price has come down since i got mine, I also didn't check ebay, I instead went to a reputable company so I'd hopefully get a reliable one.

As DRIZIT said Stu's website has the info, two different methods depending on the year of your Jeep.
