    Mazda parking brake problem

My wife's car ('09 Mazda 5) has only the left side parking braking grabbing when pulling up the handle. The right side doesn't grab at all, but hydraulic brakes are working 100%. I adjusted the tension inside the center console, so that's not the issue. It's one cable from the handle that seems to split underneath the car, but without lifting the car I can't really tell what's happening under there.

There is no adjustment anything on the caliper, so I'm left to suspect the right side cable has snapped.

Any ideas, am I right with my suspicion or are there separate adjustments for each brake?

    Thanks

When I had my protégé5 I had to adjust them individually at the caliper. there was am adjustment screw under a cover bolt.

Thanks Jak, I'll check it again, it's possible I missed an adjustment bolt.
